Thank you to Becky for submitting this purple smokey eye to my Facebook page.
Here’s my take:
I’m the second set of eyes in the photo above.
I used Lancome Amethyst palette! These shadows are unreal- I haven’t came across any other purples that are as pigmented, I really like the mix too.
I used Mac’s Atlantic Blue, and Kid in the crease.
Kid is pretty boring, but every fair skin girl needs it. It blends shadow colors like a dream! Super similar to Urban Decay Naked.
I used Bare Minerals Queen Phyllis pigment on the inner corners of my eyes.
I doubled up my fake lashes… meaning I glue two sets together to make them extra thick.
I really love purple, it’s so beautiful on green eyes. I argue that purple is a neutral, just like leopard print. Ha ha ha.
After I created this fancy pants eye, my Dad and I made dinner at my house, and talked about travelling. We talked about all the cool places we’d like to go in Europe, and I said I need to see Paris. Take me to the Louvre, and I’ll be in heaven. I also told him I might not come back for awhile… I’m serious. Sigh. Dreams.
Love your little Edmonton makeup artist,
Megs
